Protecting Texas Children is honored to stand alongside detransitioner Soren Aldaco as she fights for justice and accountability against the medical system that failed her.

Soren is suing nine medical and mental health professionals for guiding her into social and medical transition as a minor. Her case represents one of the most significant legal challenges yet to the child gender-transition industry in Texas.

The Texas Supreme Court will hear Soren’s case on February 11, deciding whether her lawsuit can proceed under the Texas Medical Liability Act. A ruling in Soren’s favor would allow her to seek damages and could set a powerful precedent holding physicians and counselors accountable for transitioning minors.
